Yayette Marielle Barimbad

Yayette, an experienced accountant with a decade of experience, has been with Study Smart Tutor for over a year and currently holds the position of Senior Lead for Payroll Support. In this role, she directs all payroll functions and manages the payroll team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for all employees. Utilizing her extensive payroll knowledge and leadership abilities, she improves payroll procedures, establishes best practices, and cultivates a successful team. As a crucial member of the Accounting/ Finance/HR Department, her work significantly impacts the organization’s financial accuracy and efficiency. Her career has progressed through payroll support roles, starting as a Payroll Support Specialist, advancing to Jr. Payroll Support Specialist and Lead Payroll Support Specialist, and culminating in her current senior leadership position. Before joining Study Smart Tutors, she was also responsible for generating and analyzing financial reports, managing daily operations, budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and improving the invoice issuing system.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Technology from Cor Jesu College and a National Competency Level 3 in Bookkeeping. Yayette is also a Level 1 Member of the International Certified Bookkeeper (MICB) through the National Institute of Accounting Technician (NIAT).

Demonstrating her keen interest in technology, Yayette has years of experience working with Advanced MS Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL, developing various tools and templates. Her contributions to several projects enhanced user experience and saved company resources.

Yayette’s long-term professional goal is to enhance her financial analysis skills and continue to excel in her leadership role at Study Smart Tutor.

Outside of work, Yayette enjoys spending time with family, DIY crafts or braids, nature exploration, and watching movies with loved ones.
