Recruiting Coordinator

Wendy started her career as an Administrative Staff at a local university, where she worked directly with the Chief Administrative Officer, facilitated daily office transactions, and gained three years of experience in Academic Administration. She also worked as a Project-based Administrative Assistant in the city government and directly supported the Operations Manager. In this role, she assisted in launching projects, helped with the recruitment process, and maintained effective and active communication with the concerned offices. She recently spent 2 years and 6 months at a business and digital transformation company, where she was recognized as a top performer on both accounts she handled. Wendy managed large volumes of outbound calls and assisted caregivers in a timely manner.

 

Wendy completed her bachelor’s degree in Literature at the University of Southeastern Philippines. Throughout her coursework, she was trained to convey various kinds of information effectively, both orally and in writing. As a result, Wendy’s professors and peers frequently commended her for her eloquence. She also completed on-the-job training at the University of Southeastern Philippines’ Office of Administrative Services Division. There, she was praised as a responsible and hard-working trainee and acquired essential professional skills such as teamwork, flexibility, and interpersonal communication skills.

 

Wendy is a Recruiting Coordinator at Study Smart Tutors, where she proactively sources and attracts potential candidates through online job boards, social media, and educational institutions. This includes the entire recruitment process, from scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks to conducting background screenings for selected candidates to verify their credentials and suitability for employment, and communicating with candidates throughout the process, providing timely updates, answering inquiries, and offering guidance as needed. In this role, Wendy collaborates with the HR Team to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, streamline the hiring process, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
