Tugba Adanur is the Associate Director of Curriculum at Study Smart Tutors, with 15 years of experience in secondary mathematics education and curriculum development. She specializes in designing and implementing effective intervention programs, including math and ELA initiatives for middle and high school students, as well as developing inclusive programs for neurodivergent learners and full-inclusion classrooms. Tugba served as a Math Department Head for six years, where she led her team in improving instruction, supporting teachers, and tracking student progress to enhance outcomes. During her tenure, she founded and supervised student clubs, including STEAM and Math Clubs, and created opportunities for students to participate in math competitions. She also established a Cybersecurity Club, coaching students for competitions and inspiring their interest in technology and problem-solving.
Tugba is skilled in strategic planning, curriculum development, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Secondary Mathematics Education, completed her California Clear Credential Program at UCSD, and is committed to improving education through practical, thoughtful, and collaborative solutions. Tugba’s work focuses on creating standards-aligned instructional materials, leading professional development sessions, and expanding educational initiatives through partnerships with schools, districts, and community organizations to improve student outcomes.
