Stephanie Ayala

Associate Director of Partnership Development

Stephanie Ayala is an experienced education leader with over a decade of success across the K–12 and edtech landscape, specializing in partnerships, revenue growth, and strategic initiatives. She began her career as a college and career counselor, building a strong foundation in student access and opportunity, and has since held senior leadership roles in admissions, sales, and partnership development.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from San Diego State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, which provides her with a strong understanding of district priorities, funding structures, and decision-making processes within K–12 systems. She has deep experience navigating complex funding streams and adoption cycles, and she is highly skilled in aligning academic programs with district goals through cross-functional leadership and large-scale program implementation.

In her role at Study Smart Tutors, Stephanie leads partnership development efforts across the 16 states that connect schools and districts with high-impact tutoring and enrichment solutions designed to improve student outcomes, working closely with education leaders to design and implement programs that meet the evolving needs of students by delivering high-impact tutoring and academic support during the school day as well as in expanded learning, after-school, and summer settings, ultimately helping to scale initiatives that increase access to support, empower educators, and drive measurable impact across the communities served.
