Rachel Katz earned her Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education from SUNY Cortland and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. With a strong background in curriculum development, special education, and program coordination, Rachel is excited to be part of the Study Smart Tutors staff.
Rachel’s career began in the classroom, where she taught students across a wide range of grade levels and learning needs. From designing creative lessons to supporting students with IEPs, Rachel has always been passionate about creating inclusive and engaging learning environments. She has worked closely with school leadership on admissions, curriculum planning, and data tracking to enhance student outcomes.
Through various opportunities, Rachel has supported donor outreach, event planning, and cross-team communication. Her work reflects a strong commitment to educational equity, student advocacy, and intentional program growth.
Outside of work, she enjoys going to concerts and sporting events. You might also find her hanging out with her dogs or off traveling somewhere new!
