Michael Maine

Michael Maine is the Partnership Manager for Northern California at Study Smart Tutors, where he collaborates with educational institutions to expand college access and improve student success outcomes. He brings a deep-rooted passion for supporting first-generation students in navigating the path to higher education.

Before joining Study Smart Tutors, Michael served as Vice President of University Partnerships at The WorldGrad, leading North American strategy to build academic partnerships for transnational education (TNE) programs.

Michael holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Davenport University and a BA in English from Michigan State University. He is an active member of several educational associations and has served in advisory roles with organizations such as the University of California – Irvine Extension and Cambridge Education Group.

Based in Sonoma, California, Michael enjoys hiking on local trails, new culinary experiences, and traveling. His favorite role, however, is being a father. He especially treasures time with his five-year-old daughter, whether it’s school activities, park adventures, or story time at home.
