Makya McMillion

Makya is an experienced education leader with over 6 years of experience strengthening schools and organizations through thoughtful leadership, team development, and community-centered initiatives. She is recognized for building meaningful partnerships, expanding impactful programs, and creating opportunities that better serve underrepresented students and families.

Makya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Counseling. She has led students and staff at a local Boys & Girls Club, where she developed strong leadership and mentorship skills. She has cultivated trusting relationships with families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, designing programming that supports student growth and community engagement.

As a Program Manager at Study Smart Tutors, Makya leads the strategic planning and execution of educational initiatives that strengthen partnerships and improve student outcomes. She is dedicated to increasing participation in programs, supporting community engagement, and ensuring students have access to high-quality learning opportunities.
