Justin Worlock, an Arizona native, grew up playing basketball in the Central Phoenix area. He was fortunate to be part of a 4A-Division 1 State Championship Team in 2009. He then attended Arizona State University (ASU), where he earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, with a minor in psychology. Beyond academics, he worked at the Rec Center on ASU’s main campus and quickly developed a passion for professional development, dedicating himself to setting up his peers for success in their respective fields. He continued his work in higher education at Valdosta State University in Georgia, where he founded a student organization focused on recreational access and inclusive programming, becoming a strong advocate for these causes.
Transitioning from education to health and wellness, he spent 5 years in North Carolina raising awareness about Float Therapy. It was there that he learned a ton of new skills that he would carry with him on his journey. Shortly after the COVID-19 Pandemic, Justin returned to Arizona to be closer to his Mom and Sister. He began working at various non-profit organizations, all focused on education and programs serving low-income families and adults with disabilities. Currently, at Study Smart Tutors, Justin is taking a leading role in supporting Arizona’s youth in college readiness and preparedness.
In his personal life, Justin takes care of his two kids, two cats, and two dogs. He cherishes spending time with his family, hiking, and film photography.
