Juan is an experienced educator and curriculum leader with over seven years of expertise in designing, refining, and scaling high-quality, standards-aligned math instructional materials. He leverages data-informed insights to enhance student outcomes, strengthen assessment alignment, and optimize curriculum effectiveness across programs.

Juan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Teaching and a Master of Science in General Mathematics. Throughout his career, he has worked as a mathematics instructor and curriculum developer for grades K–12, with a focus on creating engaging, accessible, and instructionally coherent learning experiences.

As a Curriculum & Assessment Manager at Study Smart Tutors, Juan applies his expertise in mathematics and curriculum design to support both educators and students. He leads curriculum projects, collaborates with educational stakeholders, and manages content within Learning Management Systems (LMS). Juan is passionate about improving educational accessibility and equity, with a history of supporting migrant education programs and educator professional development.
