Jordan Vargas

Jordan is a dynamic education leader with over ten years of experience in leadership, teaching, and operational scaling. He is skilled in team development, educational program enhancement, and data-driven strategy implementation. Recognized for his expertise in designing equitable instructional practices and driving cross-departmental collaboration, Jordan plays a key role in supporting growth and program success across the organization.

Jordan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics for Teachers and holds a California Single-Subject Clear Credential in Mathematics (Examination). He also earned a Master of Science in Data Science, where he bridged his interests in mathematics, computer science, business, and education. Jordan served as a secondary mathematics teacher, where he was recognized as Teacher of the Year.

Over more than a decade with Study Smart Tutors, Jordan has continually advanced the organization’s educational vision. After joining full-time as Associate Director of Education in 2018, he now serves as the Vice President of Education, leading initiatives that strengthen instructional quality and operational scalability. Among his many contributions are developing systems to scale quality assurance, enhancing data-driven insights through innovative ed-tech and operational tools, and expanding the department’s influence into new markets and regions.
