Jason Roche

Jason is an experienced educator with a strong background in both elementary and collegiate education. They have spent multiple years supporting elementary-level intervention programs and are well-versed in California Common Core Standards-based practices such as CGI Math, Culturally Responsive Participation Protocols, and Culturally & Linguistically Responsive Pedagogy. Jason is passionate about equality in education and highly motivated to support fellow educators in fostering inclusive and impactful learning environments.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in English Literature. They have worked in a variety of roles, including as a 4th-grade teacher in Los Angeles and an Adjunct Writing Professor at the university level.

Jason first joined Study Smart Tutors as a Tutor and Facilitator, driven by their passion for education. They later expanded their expertise as an Academic Services Manager and now serves as the Digital Learning Experience Manager, where they leverage their diverse background to enhance the digital learning experiences that empower students and educators alike.
