Henry Boyd is thrilled to be continuing his career in field work and education as an Academic Services Manager in New York and New Jersey for Study Smart Tutors. Born in Berkeley and raised in New York City and Santa Monica, Henry has been working as a tutor and teacher for seven years and a program manager for two, with extensive experience in (D)SAT, ACT, SHSAT, Regents, College Writing, ESOL, Arts Portfolio and Extracurricular prep and management, as well as having worked as a Field Organizer for various political campaigns. Henry loves working with people and specializes in supporting marginalized communities and populations as well as students with disabilities. Henry received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and his Master’s degree (cum laude) from the Royal Academy of Music.
Off the clock, Henry is also a Musical Theatre performer in New York City where he sings, acts and dances. In addition to theatre and music, Henry’s passions include history, art, foreign languages, linguistics and literature, with special sweet spots for Shakespeare and all the Russians.
