Gems began his career as a Product Sourcing Specialist, where he spent two years identifying and procuring profitable items from various suppliers and retail channels for Amazon Fulfillment. This experience strengthened his expertise in product research, supplier coordination, and cost-effective sourcing strategies. He later joined Study Smart Tutors as a Staffing Specialist under the Education department, where he supported recruitment and placement efforts for approximately eight months. Following this, Gems served as an Executive Assistant to an appellate lawyer based in Virginia, where he provided administrative and operational support within a legal environment. He also gained experience in the healthcare retail industry through his role with a California-based company specializing in medical apparel.
Currently, Gems has returned to Study Smart Tutors as a Purchasing Specialist, where he continues to build on his background in procurement and operations.
