Christian Paul Malacad

Christian is a Recruiting Coordinator with expertise in talent acquisition, candidate engagement, and recruitment operations. Guided by his background in psychology and interest in human behavior, he has experience in end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and onboarding, utilizing various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to ensure efficient and people-centered workflows.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and completed his thesis, “From Play to Crime: The Lived Experiences of Children in Conflict with the Law in Davao City,” which received both the Departmental and Institutional Best Research Award at San Pedro College, Davao City. His academic training strengthened his skills in interviewing, behavioral assessment, qualitative research, and ethical practice—competencies that support his work in recruitment and talent coordination.

At Study Smart Tutors, Christian coordinates applicants, manages candidate pipelines, and assists with staffing across programs. His combined background in psychology and recruitment enables him to maintain efficient hiring processes while prioritizing candidate experience and organizational alignment, ensuring the organization is supported by qualified educators who make a meaningful impact on students and their communities.
