Bobby Soto

Bobby joins Study Smart Tutors after 5 years of corporate sales and business development for industries including agricultural technology, medical staffing, and business consulting. Prior to that, Bobby was a facilitator of services for students with special needs. He has always been an advocate for underrepresented students, and even collaborated to create a social emotional learning class as an intervention for disenfranchised students. After 20 years of teaching, Bobby had an interest in business and sales, so he went back to school and earned a Master’s degree in Business and Entrepreneurship. 

He not only wants to thrive in sales for his family’s sake, but he also wishes to mentor those with overlooked potential to pursue their dreams via sales as well. 

Bobby knows resilience and grit as he went from an ineligible high school student-athlete with poor grades to becoming a Division I wrestler at Cal State Bakersfield with two BA degrees and eventually two Master’s degrees. 

Bobby enjoys being with his two sons and wife, as they do everything together, and continues to coach travel baseball and wrestling in the Bay Area, where he resides.
