Ashley Schmerbeck

Ashley is a skilled leader with experience in scaling operations, optimizing processes, and managing teams. She has successfully led large-scale initiatives supporting over 1,000 educators, developed tools to improve staff efficiency, and streamlined organizational systems to enhance collaboration and impact.

A proud first-generation college graduate, Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology. She also directed community service initiatives in tutoring and science education, encouraging students to pursue higher education opportunities. Her background as a Paraeducator supporting special education students deepened her commitment to inclusive and equitable education.

With over six years at Study Smart Tutors, Ashley serves as the Associate Director of Educator Success, providing strategic leadership to our Staffing and Support Team, ensuring educators and partners receive the resources and guidance they need to thrive. Ashley has spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive Support Center for Educators and Partners, led the design of a Salesforce platform tailored to educator needs, and enhanced systems organization-wide to improve operational efficiency. Her leadership is defined by innovation, collaboration, and an unwavering dedication to empowering those who empower students.
