Asante Shakuur

Asante is a proven higher education leader with over 15 years of experience in program development, partnerships, fundraising, and curriculum development. He has successfully brokered impactful partnerships, both as an individual and as part of a team, with a strong focus on relationship-building. Asante is highly skilled in account management, corporate sales, strategic planning, and both corporate and individual fundraising, serving learners at varying stages of life.

Asante holds a Bachelor of Science in Public & Environmental Affairs, with a concentration in Urban Management, and is a Certified DC Government Equal Opportunity Officer for the UDC Workforce Development Division. He has collaborated with University of Maryland faculty and staff to shape the curriculum for the Master’s Program in Telecommunications.

In his role as Partnership Manager at Study Smart Tutors, Asante brings his expertise in cultivating corporate and individual donors, as well as strategic planning and execution for educational initiatives. His leadership helps drive meaningful partnerships and initiatives that enhance educational opportunities and outcomes.
