Annie Jiaravanont

Annie Jiaravanont is a proud California Bay Area native who is learning to love living in the Los Angeles area. She attended UC Berkeley to study Psychology and made an eleventh hour pivot to English. In answer to the age-old question “What do you do with a B.A. in English?” she earned her teaching credential and M.A. in Education from Santa Clara University and embarked upon a thoroughly rewarding career as a middle and high school teacher.

After teaching in Bay Area and LA schools for 13 years, Annie started to consider how she might address some of the issues she routinely saw students, teachers, and administrators struggling with. She joined Study Smart Tutors in 2024 as a Curriculum & Assessment Manager with the hope of collaborating with a strong team of learners and leaders to develop engaging pathways to meaningful education.

Annie celebrates the principle of gradual, perhaps non-linear, growth in her own life by attempting to learn Japanese and Thai in her spare time. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and barre workouts.
