Alysha joins Study Smart Tutors with a life-long passion for education. After high school, she earned an AA from Ventura College. She graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art with an emphasis in Art History from CSU Channel Islands. After working in the non-profit sector, she wanted to mentor youth and decided to go back to school. She obtained a Single Subject Teaching Credential for English Language Arts from the University of La Verne. She taught ELA and Life Skills to 7th and 8th graders for four years at a Title I middle school in Southern California.

Alysha remains committed to working in the field of education because of the positive impact it has had on her own life. She believes education can inspire and empower everyone. She is excited to continue to help students of all backgrounds as an Education Coordinator.
When Alysha is not working, she can be found reading, writing, watching a horror film or K-drama, or spending time with her husband and their Chihuahua, DB.
